I have worked on winning cross gender campaigns. I have also had discussions with politicians about how it works.

Many people do not like to see women attacked by men in any way. It creates a big problem when the figurative brings to mind what happened to their sister, mom, or even themselves.

She should be tested and held to high standards just as anyone would expect of any person running for vice president. But, if our candidates attack viciously they will sacrifice votes unnecessarily.
