The Republicans -- and I have always maintained this -- see politics as war and Democrats see it as nuanced debate. That's why we lose to them so much. We have to come out doing more than just swinging -- we have to come out and hit the sons of bitches with everything we've got until they're bruised and bloody and begging for mercy on the ground.
