Palin: Divisive as Hell
Palin is a far better orator than McCain. But the tone of her speech is
sarcastic, mean-spirited and divisive. Apparently, her role is to look good and
throw out red meat for the base. And she is doing that. Too bad she won't talk
about policy positions in any detail.

America still has no idea how Palin stands on any issue except abortion -- which
she wants to ban in all instances. One has to question whether a promise to send
women to prison for having abortions is really what they think they can win
with.

And... oh my gosh... Palin has repeated her lie about "saying no" to the bridge
from nowhere. Has she no shame?

Where Obama seeks to raise our sights and unite us, Palin and McCain seek to
turn us against each other. It is sad to watch. We can't afford four more years
of this. Obama is not perfect, but I prefer his optimism over the cynicism I am
hearing from Palin.
