Matthews: "A cultural challenge missile aimed at Obama/Biden" ; Olberman: "Sarcasm, bitterness"
This is so surreal.

Olberman: "NOTHING about this speech reminded me of Hillary Clinton. She is clearly not an alternative to Hillary Clinton."

What a cheap debasement of our political discourse in this country, that we have just witnessed tonight.

1. As much as Hillary got on my nerves during the primaries,
she at least told us what she was going to do regarding health care and the economy.

It shouldn't, but it does. And how little they care of substance.

7. So, did Matthews followup with any thoughts on how inflaming ...
... the culture war will address our economic woes and help bring the troops home?

9. Mockery, nastiness and hate-filled rhetoric.
Palin's pointed and sarcastic mockery aimed at Obama's career and gifted ability to inspire people was a hate-filled diatribe that was incredibly offensive.

Palin addressed NONE of the critical issues facing us. Instead, she spent the time sniping at Obama and Biden and the media.

There is no other conclusion to draw after witnessing this spectacle. This woman is a nasty piece of work.

17. This is good for us!
The Obama nomination shows that we are on the right side of the culture war.
The country is ready to be on our side.
