What Sarah Palin brings to the McCain ticket
Executive experience (running a city of about 5,000 and a state with fewer residents than Rhode Island).

She already has (18 months) experience governing 17% of the country (by land area) so what's another 83 percent?

Her runner-up finish in the 1984 Miss Alaska contest balances nicely with McCain's fifth-from-the-bottom ranking in his Naval Academy class.

Palin has more city council experience (in Podunk, Alaska) than Barack Obama and Joe Biden combined.

She doesn't need naps.

As Mayor/manager of Wasilla, Alaska, she knew almost all of her (39) city employees by name and even learned to drive the city's only snow plow.

Unlike John McCain, Palin knows how to operate computers and fax machines (such as the city-owned ones she improperly used for campaign purposes in 2002).

Palin is not a "tax and spend Liberal" (having left Wasilla $22 million in debt).

Unafraid of making politically-oriented hiring and firing decisions (such as firing a librarian who opposed her attempts at censorship and the state public safety officer who wouldn't fire her sister's ex-husband).

Knows how to put lipstick on a pig (having sold the Wasilla multi-use sports complex project as the money-maker it never has been).
