1. They better be.
The media is now in love with her, never mind her patent dishonesty.

2. I suspect they are high fiving.
The GOP just completely overplayed their hand.

Obama: :I don't throw the first punch".

17. I agree
GOP snots Rudy and Hockey Mama overstepped tonight. To most independents, it will look like what it is: ugly inside and out.

26. making fun of community service in hard times will not go over well
to any reasonable person that is still undecided.

I think they blew it big time tonight. The media love hoopla will subside when Obama and Biden put on their gloves now that the fight is officially on. and they don't have to be nasty one little bit, they have the facts on their side.

Sarah and Johnny should be shitting their pants right about now - there will be no mercy.

Obama said he is in it to win it and I believe him.

20. I agree
Her scandals have tabloid legs. I suspect we will get 60 straight days of scandal at the super market check out line. McCain and his band a merry CEOs may not shop for themselves but all the soccer mom they wanted to get sure do.

We'll see how she does when she's not reading off a teleprompter.

24. Unfortunately, the base may turn out for her,
when it wouldn't necessarily turn out for him.

Axelrod is smart, I hope, because they will need some real outreach in smaller cities and rural areas of some of the battleground states. It's the folks who voted for Hillary in Pennsylvania that may take note.

I think that Palin's appeal to middle-class, large city suburb moderate soccer moms won't be too great. That nasty edge is bound to come out, and the family's problems not quite the same. For example, the Palins don't seem too worried about college, which many suburbanites do, and the hunting stuff may seem distasteful.

25. Don't forget about our base and all the people she dissed tonight.
that's going to ENERGIZE OUR BASE AND INDEPENDENTS who don't like being lied to and scolded in the same fetid breath.

Unfortunately, I think this will be another close one.

We better win. This woman is a lunatic right wing religious fringer and she should not be anywhere near the White House!
