Sarah Palin wows relatively small homogeneous audience

Though one score and four years behind the Democrats, the Republicans have finally nominated their first woman as a vice presidential candidate. The timing is uncanny since they are going to run her against a would-be African-American president. Sarah Palin is stunning and articulate, but she can lie, smear, and use right-wing lingo with the best of Republicans.

Among other things:

She reiterated the complete bulls*** that she turned down funds for the bridge to nowhere.

She mocked those who haven't been a mayor of a small hamlet.

And she used right-wing lingo such as the fictitious "death tax."

I can see how she's a hit with staunchly conservative women, but I can't see how any other woman would vote for her.
