I loved Sarah Palin's Speech so much,
I just donated another $50.00 to Joe and Barack (through DU). Can't think of a better way to respond to this Republican hatefest.

4. are we in Moscow? Fascist Barbie Speech from Ministry of Truth
a friend just wrote me this about her speech:

snip

Somewhere in the middle of all this, everything got very surreal,
and I began to think maybe my name was was John Konovitch and I was watching a Politburo
broadcast from Moscow or Leningrad or something. If I was Stanislovsky and was asked to judge
Governor Palin's delivery, I would say that she telegraphs her applause lines, and sort of signals
the audience that it's time to applaud a line. She pimped her downs baby unashamedly -
and her son (who you can bet will be assigned to something safe like quartermaster ( supply sargeant)
in the green zone.

7. I know how you feel!
I have an Obama budget. I don't have a huge amount of "extra" money. There have been times when I had JUST made my donation for that pay period and THEN something came up that deserved a special donation. I just cheered on the ones that were donating then :)

to cheer on the ones who are donating.

:bounce:

And we'll have plenty of opportunities to donate in the coming weeks. ;)

The thought of that smug, sarcastic bitch being the vice president (and how JM looks, PRESIDENT!) makes me ill!

50 more bucks from us tonight...through DU of course!

14. I agree. The period when he was with the Dead is still my favorite.
He died tragically too young.

And these speeches tonight were an insult to the american people. i'm disgusting, and i'm going to take this up with all my philosophy students tomorrow. screw the paper-thin patina of impartiality i've been entertaining at my job. this is just wrong.

You can bet I'd have an opinion on this joke of a candidate.

I suppose mid-Maine wouldn't be considered near Atlanta. :-)

17. Rosanne Barr
did anybody else get reminded of Rosanne? I thought Sarah Palin was going to tell us that she makes a mean loose meat sandwich!

Seriously, that was the least presidential speech, she was embarrassingly mocking and sarcastic... childish

18. Welcome onboard phooey! Gald to have you here.
Listening to her...the more I hear, the more irritating I find her voice. She sounds like that woman policeman in Fargo. Golly. gee.
