~ROFL~McCain, Palin and company just gave the Democrats an awesome war call |
|
The republicans are caught in a time warp, trying to relieve the 80's, and totally forget the last 8 years of Bush.
The liberal media? They are digging out all the old chestnuts to try and find something that will work. Palin rallied the base, which McCain already had, more or less. But do you really think this is going to play for the independents who will decide the election.
McCain had his nomination tied up for three months before the democrats settled their nominee. Three months to vet, find a decent running mate, and what does he do. The day before he announces he throws a hail mary named Sarah. Does anyone in their right mind once they think about it, want someone like that with their hand on button.
Wasilla AK., and 18 months later, second in command for the most powerful nation on earth??
Unbelievable.

1. I can't imagine anyone liking this night other than hardcore Republicans. |

Where were the solutions? There weren't any.

2. It played to the base, and they loved it. |

But there was nothing there. Tonight and tomorrow they will be giving her all kinds of kudos for getting through it.
But she is such a mess, when you peel back the layers of that onion.
Give it a couple of days.. what a dufus McCain is

4. Yep. The media's trying to spin it as "nice viscious" or "nice bitter", but |
|
anyone who actually watched the speech and can think for themselves will realize that there was no substance, just cheap attacks.
