When my husband comes running in here to tell me how much better a speaker Michelle Obama is - and how Palin is like some impatient school marm - something is going on.

Give it a couple of days and a worm is going to turn in their stomachs.

I've learned to trust my hubby's sense about people when his reaction is so strong. And he's not the political junky in our house.

He thought Palin was a complete doofus, and saw right through her attempts to be "cute", - the winks, nose wrinkling, etc. He also said her speech lacked substance and didn't address issues.

Last week, after Michelle's speech, he was VERY impressed with her wit, her smarts, everything.

Guess the Repukes don't understand that for many people, beauty isn't enough.
