2. If I were the press
I would take Palin's speech as an invitation to keep digging

3. I say let her speak for McCain.
She is a partisan hack who agrees with Bush 100%.
Let her be McCain's voice and let her sink he along with the vile Republican party!

4. The McCain campaign
should probably keep McCain away from the press as well. Seems like the guy has been in hiding ever since that whole "I dont know how many houses i own" gaffe.

8. If they try this ploy, it really goes against her ready to lead from day one claim
She can handle Putin, Osama and the like but can't deal with journalists?

WTF?

6. Hey, they've done the same with McCain. And the shit MSM has hardly called him
on it.

Palin's walking on a knife's edge. The Republicans managed to field an entire ticket of candidates with severe anger management issues.

9. Nah, they're starting to call McCain on it
That bizarre Time interview, the even more bizarre Larry King cancellation... one of his greatest strengths has been his relationship with the media, and he's destroyed it.
