For all those wanting Obama to address Palin...
Edited on Wed Sep-03-08 11:47 PM by GarbagemanLB
Hillary needs to deal with Palin for the most part. Biden should address her only in the debate, and there he should be forceful but respectful.

Obama and Biden should just focus on McCain.

Hillary going after Palin takes any potential 'victim' or 'sexism' card off the table, and frankly I think Hillary is rightfully angry about Palin trying to 'replace' her and definitely wants women to know how dangerous Palin is to their reproductive freedom and other women's issues.

3. Obama made a mistake the other day by taking the bait...
...on the comparison to her. She's a useless fucking bimbo gnat. She isn't worthy of his attention.

5. I agree. If Hillary stepped up and just gave one of her trademark chuckles at the whole prospect
of Palin and the absurdity of McSame trying to replace her with this pathetic person, it would go a very long way to making us wake up to what's going on.

9. WAIT just a minute!!! Clinton aides say dems have been sexist to Sarah
Sarah Palin found some unlikely allies Wednesday as leading academics and even former top aides to Hillary Rodham Clinton endorsed the Republican charge that John McCain’s running mate has been subject to a sexist double standard by the news media and Democrats.

11. Palin needs to be ignored. And, again, I really don't think it's wise for Hillary to take Palin head
on. I've come to the conclusion that if Hillary takes on Palin directly she will be accused by the "liberal" media of being jealous and wanting the "prize" all to herself. She certainly can campaign for Obama but directly taking on Palin would be a huge mistake. I don't think it's wise to pay any attention to Palin at all. McCain should be the focus because, after all, the conventional wisdom is that no one votes based on the VP anyway.

13. I think she should go after them both.
I dont know what you mean by "head on"- but Democrats should be responding to attacks on other Democrats-especially when it is our nominee...

14. At the very least she needs to preform outreach to moderate/independent women to inform
them of the dangers the McCain/Palin ticket poses.

15. I'm telling you, making it into Hillary vs. Palin is a very bad idea. She can speak out against
the ticket, similarly to what she did at the convention, but being responsible for answering all of Palin's attacks is not the route to take.
