We'll see what the top of the ticket can do now, and no doubt there will be comparisons between their performances. AS much as I dislike Palin, I think her delivery is crisper than McNasty's, at the end of the day he still needs to distance himself from BUsh's death grip, and we'll see how he handles THAT.

2. They had better make sure that the teleprompter doesn't go down
McCain will be as lost a little puppy in the big city.

3. Anyone's delivery is crisper than McGeritol's...
He takes on a sing-songy cadence like he's speaking to small, stupid children - even Mr. Rodgers didn't talk down to kids. After about two minutes of that kindergarten approach you begin to go crazy noticing the phony and inappropriately timed grimaces that are supposed to be smiles, the lack of enthusiasm and the inability to punch an applause line. It's not just because I can't stand the sight or sound of him, but he really is the most uninspiring, uncharismatic, flat and boring speaker of that high a level I've ever heard. I can't believe he ever got elected to Congress let alone win the GOP primaries.

After what Obama delivered last week, McCain should be embarassed to open his pie hole tomorrow night. I only hope the pundits and writers will compare McCain to his opponent - Obama - and not to his running mate when comparing speeches.

4. Very good point.
Who knows, maybe he'll rise from the dead and give a great ressurection speech!

Me, I'm going to buy a gallon of Tequila for the "My Friends" drinking game tomorrow. I hope everyone is similarly prepared.

David
