Straight Off the Ramp - Palin Jumped the Shark by Pumping up the Snark... |
|
...and the campaign will soon live to regret it.
Palin's condescending and demeaning tone is far too typical of the Grand Old Party Rhetoric for people who want genuine change.
Also, Hillary learned the hard way what happens when you undervalue the experience of a community organizer like Barack. Palin played straight into Obama's strength. Barack knows how to dump this kind of pap right back in the lap of the of the opposition.
...And as far as Biden having to be careful in the debate because she's a women, Palin has already taken off the gloves & thrown down the gauntlet -- all is fair game now.
Thank you Sarah for being inexperienced enough to blindly regurgitate the boilerplate speech written for you by you're party's elite handlers.
Good luck.

1. I never thought the gloves should have been ON! Why the hell is |
|
Palin any different than Hillary? I don't recall any gloves being on when criticizing her! That's all BS from the RW claiming "she's a WOMAN!" Well TS. If you want to play in the ring, you damn well better be ready to do it!

11. Palin is a Newcomer & the Public at Large Might Have Had Problems... |
|
...with her being attacked.
Now Biden can leverage her own words & lack of experience against her.

7. Palin Going After Obama's "Experience"... |
|
...is laughable, when it wasn't her own idea.
GOP desperation led to Palin's nomination & the manipulation of "her" message.
She is so naive. The same ideological characters who wrangled Bush in 2,000 and now corrupt McCain, are exploiting Palin to the max. She has no clue.

The speech (notice I didn't say her speech) was top-loaded with bald faced lies about Obama's proposed policies.
Fortunately, there's enough time for the record to be corrected in the publics eye.

She'll feel the full wrath that comes with surrendering her free will to the GOP machine.
I honestly fear for her & her family. They are so being used by these amoral power brokers.

20. Can't say that I do, not a bit. That type thrive on being "talk of the town"... |
|
and I'm sure they're pretty used to it by now. The thing about everybody knowing your business is standard operating procedure where they lived, it's actually somewhat of a sport, to be the buzz. So for them to be pawns, even when they get knocked off the board, will count as a positive, once they're all home.
On your point about change, well I think more should be made public about what she did to her own hometown, in bringing her "change". She touts the wonders of "small town" America, yet she stripped her own of its ambiance, turned it into a big ugly strip mall, planted box stores in the farmland, doubled the population by attracting well-off city people, and effectively killed the magic that everyone who lives in one loves. And debt, an unwieldy mountain of debt.
If she's going to be marching her jackboots across this country, hitting rural burgs in West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Indiana and everywhere else I'm sure the neocons intend to use her, we need to start getting together some graphic before and after photos of quaint little Wasilla, to show small town folk what exactly the Republicans have in store for them.

23. Thanks! I couldn't remember what the exact figure was...$20 Mil |
|
I won't forget it now! Seriously tho, what she did to that town is exactly what us podunks do not ever want to see...regardless of party affiliation. My little town is currently fighting "big business" that is trying to plop a refuse and recycling center right across the street from our high school, at an old condemned lumber mill site...citizens of both stripes are hoppin' mad that they used old zoning (from the mill) in a now residential area, to pull off the sale of the property, then deceptively skirted an environmental impact report to gain proper permits. When they mess with people's kids, everyone has a stake, and the town has naturally pulled together. Just last month, the movement to recall our mayor was begun and the meeting places to discuss our "Dumpgate" with town leaders have been changed to larger and larger halls, every time they give us a chance to speak and fire questions at them.
Once country jakes realize that Palin has every intention of destroying "small town" America, with no real financial gain going to their citizens, at all, even "little r" republicans will be running her out on a rail, her and the "big Rs" she rode in with.

19. Palin's Full of GOP Vetted Rhetoric... |
|
...She's at GOP boot camp for Veeps for God's sake!
The GOP elite handlers are working desperately to make her ready for more than just a prime time speech.
They now have to convert her into a believably spontaneous automaton, who can muster up a genuine smile while masterfully fielding questions above her pay grade (with out sounding out the hard words).
I don't envy her.
