here is an official source. Not to say the fight is not on. Not to say that Obama won't win in the end. But what I saw of the convention, she was a hit. It was painful to watch, but it was all there to witness. Of COURSE she's an extremist. Of COURSE she is negative and hateful. Of COURSE she is unqualified and inexperienced. But not to acknowledge that she was inspiring to their base tonight is to disavow reality.

Time marches on, though. A week after a convention, and things rarely look the same. Remember the Dem Convention ended last Thursday? Wow, how things have changed.
