Talking Point: Sarah Palin demonstrated her qualifications, Wednesday night....

I was shocked (yea, I know) at Tom Brokaw's comment on MSNBC, following Palin's speech, that Palin took a big step tonight towards demonstrating her qualifications to the public.

I'd love to know how giving a speech -- especially one written by others, rehearsed for days, and read from teleprompters -- demonstrates qualifications for the Presidency, or even the Vice-Presidency. All that happened Weds night was that Palin demonstrated her qualifications for the high school debate team; though I'm beginning to wonder if her master plan isn't her own show on Fox News. (you heard it here, first!)

I was *AMAZED* at the audacity of hope in her speech, hope that the media will be so cowed by the McCain campaign's offensive that none of the lies will be refuted.

She ain't Presidential timber; just seems like a political operative or TV pundit echoing the talking points she's been fed.
