O.M.G.
NOW ML is arguing as if HE were SP, and JB isn't biting. "You'll hear it (my counter) when you hear it."

6. My only complaint is that he did not do more to defend Community Organizing. |
|
He simply stated the fallacy in her position that it was all of Obama's experience. He went on to list Obama's accomplishments after his CO days.
I really wish he would have explained exactly what Obama did for those people so that it is clear the CO was not JUST a stepping stone. It was a meaningful job with real accomplishments.

7. Biden handled it perfectly. He REFUSED to take Matt Lauer's bait |
|
to bash Palin. Biden's response focused on what Palin did NOT mention in her speech, and that is the financial struggles facing everyday Americans. He also said she made no mention of the growing problems of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Biden does not need to denigrate Palin to elevate himself. His expertise and experience are more than apparent.
Palin looked like an amateur, catty, juvenile in comparison.

9. One last point that he did a minor stumble on. |
|
He mentioned that Palin's sister who runs the gas station would do beter under the Obama economic plan than McCain's. But then he added the bit on the end, "Unless she makes more than $250,000 a year".
While its true that taxes would be higher if she was above that mark, the argument should be framed that the business would still do better overall because of a healthier economy.
In other words, don't volunteer the caveat about >$250,000.

8. I didn't see him on Today Show, but he was great on The Early Show |
|
I watch Harry Smith, not Matt Lauer. Matt Lauer will make you want to hit something.
Biden was perfect. He praised Palin, but then said, "but I didn't hear the words 'middle class' or 'health care'...." etc, etc. I really think he hit the perfect note.
