Ummm--- every word of Palin's speech was written by someone else.
As a matter of fact, it was written before she was the VP Nominee, and they had to change parts of it to make it less masculine.

She can read a teleprompter just like Dubya.

1. She reminds me a lot of chimpy.
Directionless, empty and willing to spew whatever shit she is told to.

2. Well, she was a sportscaster, so that makes her great at speeches.
Just like the fact she was a beauty pageant contestant will make her a killer during the debates.

Hey, if the GOP can just make stuff up out of thin air, why can't I?

5. I reported it as "snarky" on Rachel Maddow's blog.
The speach was, honestly, well delivered. But it was like Rodney Dangerfield or Shecky Green wrote most of it. It was one sad ,acerbic quip after another filled with schmaltz about the War Hero McCain.

6. What it reminded me of...
was the Academy Awards. A movie star who's been chosen to read a synopsis of a nominee for Best Picture, and has never seen the movie.
