I feel cheated.
I am nineteen and the only president I remember is gw. I kinda remember Bill. I feel cheated in that I am so young and I will have to deal with all the shit George has left for me and my gen to clean up. If John is elected me and my fellow youth will have to put up with the consequences longer than older people. We can not have another repub in the white house because I want to know how it feels to live in a country where you are truly free.

1. You HAVE been cheated.
My kids have only known Bush, have only known parents who are depressed and bitter about the direction the country has taken, have never known what it's like to be proud of your country on the world stage.

I'm sorry we let it happen. :(

2. I hear you. My kids are 20, 22, and 26. I have to listen to my RW dad go on
about how global warming doesn't exist and we have to win the Iraq war...blah, blah, blah.
I think about my kids and how THEY are the ones that will be stuck with the consequences
of these foolish positions and I want to say, "I guess you don't care since you'll be DEAD when the fuckin'
SHIT hits the fan."

But I have too much class to say that...yet. ;-)

6. Oh no, as a kid who still remembers the Clinton years, I am fully prepared to blast my dad for
his 2 votes for Bush. He has claimed remorse but I am gonna damn well make sure he votes right this time.

3. There's a lot of GOP elephant poop to be cleaned up
But don't worry, there are plenty of older folks who plan to pitch in and help shovel.

5. Let's make sure they are not elected.
Let's work as hard as we can to make sure Obama-Biden wins in Nov. The GOPuke proved that they aren't really trying to change the GOPuke's image, they are only trying to play to their base. This time it's not going to be enough. With them, it's more of the same old BS.
