When I got up this morning, what bothers me the most about Palin has crystalized.

She is not what she says she is, and she lies pathologically. The oil pipeline that will end america's energy independence, sold to and built by Canada. The special needs advocate who cut the special ed budget by 62%. The family values candidate who seeks to impose her will and religious moral beliefs on me, is out having affairs, gives birth and figures that is what parenting is about such that she already has a vandal, at least one unwed teen, and gave that teen HER CHOICE about what to do with her pregnancy (a choice she wishes to deny everyone else's daughter). A supporter of AK's succession from the nation, who is willing to call herself a country first person so long as she can be my VP to run a nation she no longer wants to be a citizen of. On and on in this vein.

And now the McCain camp threw out the gauntlet this am with their spokesperson on Morning Joe, that this liar will not be taking questions from "the media", because "you aren't important". Only what Palin wishes to spoon feed, without questioning, to the american public. More smart-ass, condescending one liners from someone who just doesn't get it, who figures doing an end run around the dumber part of the american public will be a cakewalk.

A candidate with questionable views, a bad record that ultimately won't survive scrutiny, and a campaign that plans to refuse any questions about these matters. I don't care how she is removed, but I look forward to the process.

I wonder about the owner(s) of the National Enquirer. If they really have dirt on Palin, then I bet powerful Republican backers will put pressure on the owner of the National Enquirer to suppress the story. In that case, we have to hope the stories get leaked, and are run on some other site.

They go by circulation possibilities. They have been disciplined by lawsuits. They have an open field left to them by the submissive MSM. They therefore have little to fear from Dem celebs. That leaves the call in the night from GOP black baggers. They have been very daring, with impunity going after Bush in direct correlation to his poll numbers. Their original propensity to make up stuff because the real news they couldn't compete with has been turned around to out sensationalize the truth the new "tabloid" media won't go near.

I can imagine seeing the Onion, the NE and the Daily Show being part of a new media corporation monopolizing the truth in revenge against the MSM for stealing the territory of the imaginary. And still fulfill their mission of satire, comedy or sensationalism
