I wonder how many "I just got an e-mail" and "I just got a phone call" posts there will be today.

1. ANd, they are claiming it wasn't a drunk driver, right?
Is that it? He also never pursued it. Does it say anything else?

4. Even IF (huge IF) it was a drunk driving accident...
...he is STILL the victim.

These assholes are dumber than a box of rocks.

Sheesh....:eyes:

3. Disgusting really. They just should not go there.
Palin's problem is hypocrisy regarding her pregnant duaghter but Biden's tradgedy involves two people being dead. The Rethugs just go lower and lower.

5. What, they're not dead?
Freepers have no class. They can't see the difference between picking on a widower's dead loved ones and raising questions about that lying scumbag Palin.

6. He already addressed it last week....
"In a statement to INSIDE EDITION today, Biden's spokesman says: "Senator Biden understands the intense interest in him as the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee and has mentioned the accident over the years. His focus has always been on the tragedy of losing his wife and daughter, not on the circumstances that led to the crash. Dredging up the details of the accident now serves no purpose."

Biden's spokesman added that the accident was "painful for everyone involved," including the family of the truck driver.

7. Wow. Just when I think there's no deeper depth to which to sink
they prove there is.

Biden's wife and infant daughter died in a car accident. His two sons were injured but survived. How could he have lied about that? Are his first wife and daughter ACTUALLY alive in some bunker somewhere?

How sick.

10. Wow, I don't get this at all.....Inside Edition and the freepers.....
are reaching to ridiculous levels on this one. I don't even see a potential controversy here; they'll have to completely fabricate speeches and more to give this any legs.

12. Hannity (*ugh*) brought up this on his show yesterday
As an "example" of the double standard that he claims the MSM is using against Palin, although he mentioned it in regards to Biden choosing to start his Senate term so soon after the accident. I don't know if he started it or not but this seems to be a new developing meme. So much for them respecting the privacy of people's families. :eyes:

13. In 1972 atitudes towards drunk driving were very different
than they are today. If Mrs. Biden pulled into traffic as it appears she might have then they might not have pursued any charges against the driver. Inside Edition should pull the damn traffic reports instead of relying on innuendo.

And, of course, it doesn't matter for spit.
