I have a good friend who went to Yale and is a conservative. He listened to the speech and he thought she cam off as a cheerleader. My other friend thought she seemed like a weather girl on a newscast. I think it seemed like she was reading her speech and that the speech didn't seem genuine.

My in-laws are actually voting for Obama, after voting twice for Bush!!! They see BO as a decent, old-fashioned guy -- they're very much the kind of people who mostly ignore the issues and vote for the person they feel is most like them on a gut level.
Seriously, the Republicans are screwing up big time if they lost them.
