Sarah Palin deserves scrutiny. While many right-wing Republican strategists may see her as a token Evangelical social conservative on the Republican ticket and then as decoration on the shelf after McCain's election, the rest of us see her as being the person who would finish out John McCain's presidential term if McCain gets elected and then dies or becomes incapacitated on the job.

This woman could become President of the United States of America in the next four years. You'd better believe that she ought to be given the sort of tough looking-over that most of the other presidential candidates have gone through.
