Palin calls herself 'Gal' but woe to others who refer to her that way... |

I think it is interesting that she wants to be taken seriously as a woman standing for the position of Vice President of the United States, but she thinks it is appropriate to mix in "I'm his Gal"
It just seems she is asking for the pundits to refer to her in the same way and then the McCain ticket will turn on them for their 'sexist' references to her.
Another interesting observation... Republican supporters/pundits have referred to her as a 'girl' when 'woman' is more appropriate for her age and station in life. Even Tweety pointed that out to Pat Buchanan.
In the end it has more to do with how she portrays herself, but it seems she is doing little to discourage this.
