Palin Has Energized Both Bases, Biden Bush Bash Could Back Fire
DU has not been this unified in a long, long time. Palin has not only gotten the red meat Repubs going ape shit, she has us going off as well, big time.

On to winning the ELECTION. I'm sure our honorable Joe is a bit put off by the media frenzy on both sides. I really think he's got to come up with something other than Impeach Bush Posthumously.

I know, it's the right thing to do. But we want to WIN AN ELECTION. The ELECTION is going to be won by:
1) Who turns out their base the best We will show up and now the Repubs think they'll show up.
2) Which way will the Mushy Middle vote.

Joe's prosecute Bush message does not play at all in the middle. It reminds people of the Clinton smear, the swift boat smear, and yes the perceived Palin smear it's (for the Mushy Middle) all too much emotion.

Let's cut our guys some slack if they do not throw us (what's better than "Red Meat") during this critical time to win an ELECTION.

I guarentee there will be imposters attacking our candidates on this site for not tacking hard enough to the left. Please don't be fooled.

Let's stick with our team, let's not attack our guys, let them play the middle and win the ELECTION.

Then we'll have change.

2. you would be surprised how many people in the middle highly disapproved of the reasons
for the Clinton impeachements even if they did not like him or what he did that started the whole mess.

I live in Texas and I do talk to people who aren't Democrats...and I heard many a complaint about that being no good reason to start an impeachment or even have hearings, and the things they said they thought deserved it were the things that have made us so angry ..so Biden's remarks may not do so much harm

5. Not sure what you're saying Dog
It sounds like you are saying that the Repubs going after Clinton did not play in the Mushy Middle. I agree. But you say Biden going after Bush for crimes will play in the Mushy Middle. I respectfully disagree, for the same reasons you give for the impeachment frenzy.

3. I have a lot of faith in our guys
Bush has a 30.4% approval rating (which seems a bit high) I think they are going to attack in an almost surgical way. They have SO MUCH ammo to use. They have been perfect in their response so far and I don't think they will fail. ON TO NOVEMBER!!!

6. Mushy Middle remember, they are not like us.

That is who is going to win the election. YellowDog got it part right. As much as we hate to admit it, the Middle in this election is where it is at. The Right and Left are in a frenzy, the not so well informed or impassioned win this one. Let's stay cool.

PS, please READ my entire post.

8. Thanks UP
I guess my point is they don't balance the two at all. They have not been paying that close attention other than to know that they are being annoyed. Again, I am taling about the MUSHY MIDDLE here, not us. Just saying Posthumously Impeaching Bush will not win votes with this foggy headed group. Next tactic please.

10. Wait until after the election, but by all means, hold Bush accountable

I think that at least half the country sure wouldn't mind holding Bush accountable for his crimes, which have led to the deaths of countless thousands. If this isn't simply election posturing by Biden, I for one would welcome such a move. But it should be discussed after the election is done. Once Obama's new attorney general is installed, then the real work can begin to hold these criminals accountable.
