The roll call votes that you didn't hear at the RNC

http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/022653.html

Writes Steve Reed: "I wasted my time on the roll call, which just ended, so you wouldn't have to. Write an essay dissecting, say, - Das Gemeintum vor den Eigentum - ... oh, sorry, channeling my Middle European history there ... 'Country First.'

"Ron Paul received from Alaska, 5 votes; Oregon, 4; Washington, 4; West Virginia, 2. Total, 15. NONE OF THESE were even announced from the podium by the secretaries.

"Mitt Romney received, from Utah, 2 votes. THESE were announced.

"In the final total, it was announced that Romney had 2 votes and Paul had ... 5 votes. That is, preceding the inevitable Stalinist vote to make it falsely 'unanimous.'

"Nothing that really surprised me, but they couldn't even bow to the forms."

2. I was amazed. I flipped on the TV before bed and there was the rollcall
Somewhere @11pm central. Really tried to hide it.

4. He seems to have a strong following and the Media isn't covering him
Not that it matters, the internet has taken over the job the media once did

5. I just posted in another thread that during a driving trip in Oregon this summer
we saw WAY more visible support for Ron Paul in rural areas than for McCain. In fact, I saw zero support for McCain, with the exception of a bumpersticker parked on a car in Crater Lake Nat'l Park.
