When we lost our home, and my husband lost his job, people like Barack helped us find shelter, helped my husband find training and a new job, helped us when we thought there was no hope, went to bat for us. That's what we need in a president--someone who doesn't mock us, but is on our side.

John McCain was already out of touch--he doesn't know our lives. Now, with Palin as his VP, he's wrong and dangerous too.

I'm anticipating an anti-McCain 'straight talk' ad picking up after Palin's glowing praise of the man who never waivers from the courage of his convictions. Cut to: John McCain vs. John McCain over and over - each clip of him contradicting the clip before.

This election cycle is gonna be brutal.
