This Palin thing, are we buying into it?
Look at this pic, how many _young_ people do you see?

It's mothers, kids, youth and 20's all the way from front to back - and the old man in desperate need of some youth and vigor, especially since his opponent is Obama. And the new VP that brings all this to his campaign. Don't you think the GOP already knew about the pregnancy and what have you?
McCain is a dry stick. He must desperately have envied Obama for his charming family and all the good 'Americanism' flowing from his campaign. So here comes a VP that has all he needs - including scandals to set the media agenda. Suddenly, the McCain media picture changes from old dry stick to sweet granddad. If you wanted to counter this:

Could you counter this with another similar event at the RNC? I don't think so. Especially when a good part of the people on the picture above is angry enough to meet up and disturb your propaganda show.

The Palin pick also represents feminism, if your'e not too picky. Or at least an image of what feminism should be, if you want to control it. Now, we know that this is the true picture GOP feminism:

But does the rest of the US see the same picture as we do? A good old pregnancy scandal can counter anything - the most important is that the Am. people get the Denver pictures out of their heads as quick as possible. And we are buying it too? ;-)
The GOP voter base can accept anything, the Gannon incident showed that. McCain didn't have to worry at all about them because they will buy everything the propaganda outlets sell them. If Palin's daughter had lived on the street as an anarchist, refused to see her mom and spoken publicly out against McCain as one of 'eat the rich' I'd believed it. I've tried to work up some anger over a seventeen getting pregnant with her boyfriend, but really couldn't give a shit. It has happened since before dawn and will happen forever.

The target for the choice of Palin is the Hillary Clinton voter base and the obvious choice as angle is the 'woman factor'.
And youth.
