1. I THOUGHT he hadn't been allotted that much time! KO read a |
schedule when he first came on last night, and I was a bit surprised at how little time each speaker was allocated. Obviously they couldn't control Rudy!

6. I figured it was because |
they didn't want to do a biography video of Palin -- they would have had to show Wasilla.

7. I was starting to wonder if she had fainted or was backing out. |
But if it spares me watching a video of Palin, then I guess that's OK.

8. I think that was a costly decision for the Repubs |
I have a feeling that the video intro would have been a small-town, great-mommy piece that buttered viewers up and would have made her attacks more acceptable in context of a character introduction. Instead, they skipped the introduction to do the attacks while everyone was still trying to figure out who she was.

10. Maybe Rudy's upset because he was passed over, so he decided to |
sabotage her night. Or maybe he just likes to hear himself talk and enjoyed basking in the applause of all the other hate-filled assholes.

12. I had heard that they did it on purpose |
to keep the "pundits" from commenting on Rudy's speech. Olbermann got cut off twice when he tried to break in, so it worked.
