"Liberal Media" BS Continues - CNN and NBC?
The most notable point of yesterdays little spectacle was maintaining the fiction of a liberal media. During Palin's speech, she attacked the media, and members of the audience starting chanting NBC. Now, lets look at NBC. The only thing notable about NBC is that they do have 2 real liberals, KO and Maddow. However, they also have Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarbourough. The one thing that is nice about NBC is that they do not stick to the talking points, rather they actually let their pundits go after each other, which does lead to some unscripted but authentic fights.

In contrast, all the other networks, particularly Fox and ABC, stick closely to the RNC's talking points, and never challenge them. For example, McCain as the Maverick is accepted as gospel.

CNN was particularly galling, since they happily parrotted that they were the liberal media elite, which is bullshit. Yet, the only thing that CNN does is occasionally challenge the GOP with follow-up questions.

The Democratic responses to the RNC were on point. Whenever the GOP raises the liberal media bias charge, the media always backs off like they did on Iraq. Sadly, when they do this, wars start, and people die.
