Do repubs really want Palin to some day be POTUS?
Think about it, IF (and that is a really big if) McCain does win the election is it likely he will be running for re-election in 2012? He may not be physically or mentally able to run so that means his VP would be running. And even if he does run for re-election (and wins again) in 2012, come 2016 his VP would more than likely be running on the repub ticket.

You know that there are many repubs that will want to be on their party's ticket. Do Rudy, Mitt, and other would be presidential candidates really think she is qualified?

8. If only they were aware of how many steps she's taken to cut or not allow
funding for children (special needs).

7. I just cannot believe that the repub party's "washington insiders" - or whatever
she called them - are actually on board with this. Aren't they looking at the big picture and future for their party?

I know the fundie citizens would be all for Palin as prez. - but we know they are just bat shit crazy.

5. I don't know..
After that response from the RNC, I think McCain may be looking at impeachment from his own party in '09 just to get Palin in the Oval Office ASAP.

10. The Evangelicals do.
As has been said before, we may be looking at a serious fracturing of the Republican party, if Obama wins this election.

I know Republicans that absolutely can't stand the fundie-pandering. They are only Republicans for selfish reasons (they want themselves, personally, to be taxed less), and disagree with them on ALL social issues.

This is as bad as I've seen it, in my lifetime. I don't know if the party can hold up.
