4. Ok, but that is the governor's mansion... |
|
...in Alaska, correct?
We can hardly fault her for living in the governor's mansion--where every Alaskan governor is allowed to live during their tenure.

6. Ronald Reagan built a garish governor's mansion in California, which |
|
Jerry Brown refused to live in during his governorship. If I'm not mistaken, no governor has lived in it since.

9. It is white, on a hill, not a huge place. Try again. |
|
As far as a governor's house, it isn't big or impressive beyond having columns. I lived near there and no, not worth making any fuss over. You do know that most governors have a place provided for them to live in, right?

It's a museum in Sacramento.
Most governors live in ordinary houses in ordinary neighborhoods.

That's the governor's mansion. Meaning anyone who is the governor lives there. It is owned by the people.

She claims she refused all the lavish perks of being governor, including letting the cook go. She didn't give up this perk as she could have. One more part of her speech not to take seriously.
