Quinn called NOW the "National Organization for Whores," said columnist Fatimah Ali should "get an American name"

Summary: On his syndicated radio show, Jim Quinn referred to the National Organization for Women as "the National Organization for Whores," and said of Philadelphia Daily News columnist Fatimah Ali: "ou know, Fatimah, what's your real name? Come on, seriously. I mean, get an American name, will you, if you want to be an American." He then asked: "You don't suppose she's a liberal black Muslim, do you?"

9. My xenophobic cousin had a similar whine about a columnist in the

Newark Star Ledger. The columnist's name was Pasquale and my cousin was agitated that his name wasn't "American". I asked for suggestions for such a name and my cousin proudly came up with "Patrick". No use explaining about the dearth of "American" names out there.
