Personal thoughts on the RNC vs. DNC.....

One was inspiring in such a good way (filled with so much hope for the future)
One was amazing in such a bad way (filled with so much hate/exclusion-ism for your fellow countrymen)

One lifted you up
One put you down

One showed and explained to you what the future can become
One mocked and made you fear what the future can become

One made me cry tears of joy
One made me cry tears of sadness

So many differences....I as a person who can not participate, other than to express my views,was shaken to the core after watching the applause given to Palin and the words that came from her mouth.

How is it possible that people can be so mean while placing themselves upon a pedestal. How is it that people can actually believe this sh*t.

Don't let the world down again USA....Vote for Obama/Biden...its what America needs (IMO) and its what the world needs....its what I need.

There are threads here saying if the McCain/Palin ticket wins they will leave the US...well if they win, I want to move too....just too close for comfort....I want to move to a place where differences are welcomed and accepted...where just because I don't agree with you doesn't mean that my points aren't as valid as yours.....where we can all get along and do so because we refuse to place judgment on another.....

Where is this place I speak of?

3. I have only seens blips and clips of the RNC-don't want to give them the ratings.

I am struck by the cynicism and nastiness, and the fact that they haven't addressed the major issue, which is the economy.

One thing I have noticed is how fired up the youth are becoming....as they know they will be the ones who truly have to pay in the long run....now lets get them to the voting booths...!

9. comparison

One was beautifully produced & had an excited crowd that looked like America.
The other was very cheesy with a repeating slideshow behind a boring podium (I've been to business seminars with better presentations!) & had a crowd that looked mostly like upper-class white men in business suits.
