Fighting the Inexperience Charge
Dems are foolish to get into a debate about whether Obama or Palin has more experience (as I here on TV a lot). I get more and more frustrated each time I here an argument on whose experience--Obama's or Palin's--makes the individual more prepared for the Presidency. Most Americans are just going to conclude that they have about the same experience, which is below average in both cases for the positions they're running for. Every time experience comes up, Dems need to say something like "Senator Obama has more experience being RIGHT than McCain and Palin combined. Whether it's the issue of staying in Iraq for another 100 years or giving tax breaks to those who don't need them, Senator McCain has a lot of experience being wrong and Senator Obama being right. Americans agree with Senator Obama that we don't need another 100 years in Iraq and that the Bush/McCain tax policy has crippled the economy." That's how you put the opponent on the defense whenever he or she attacks you. Just my opinion.

1. Agree. Just posted something similar
we need to concentrate on policies that are important to the day to day lives of Americans and how these were deteriorated during the 8 years when both the White House and Congress were controlled by the Republicans.

Logic and reason do not work in campaign. We have to be visceral.

2. My Two Cents on 'Experience": Elected vs Selected
Obama ran a successful campaign for the Democratic nominee for the 2008 election.

While doing so, he 'beat' the 'Clinton machine'.

He appealed to the general public.
He is smart, articulate, educated, traveled, and comes from humble beginnings.

Palin was selected.
There was no public discourse on her.
She did not have to spend two years projecting herself.

Put the two side by side.
Obama stands a mile above the Beauty Queen
