McCain Iowa chairman nabs Palin protestor during speech

St. PAUL, MINN. --- Dave Roederer, the chairman of John McCain's Iowa presidential campaign, found himself in an unusual position Wednesday.

When a pair of apparent protestors got onto the stage as Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin was giving her acceptance speech, Roederer rushed over and hustled one of them up the stairs of the Xcel Energy Center and out of sight.

Security apparently took over after that. Roederer, who is a deputy convention chairman, sat in a chair just off the floor when he said he noticed the women. "I noticed one of them get on the stage and started taking something off. It looked strange."
