Chatting with my brother today about Palin
He spends a great deal of time in AK on business. Says she's typical of most of the people he meets, which is kind of a broad brush, but apparently he doesn't hold most Alaskans in high regard.

Anyway, he thinks and I agree that Hillary needs to come out swinging against Palin. Paint her as the absolute anti-Hillary. There is no way any serious Democrat would vote for Palin because Hillary didn't win the nomination.

Plus, if Hillary comes out swinging, there is no way that anyone can say the Dems are picking on the poor little hookey mum. If she can't stand up to Hillary, she certainly can't be Vice President.

In the interest of full disclosure, neither Hillary nor Barack was my first choice, but I will gladly bubble in that oval for Barack in November.

1. I've read in several places that Hillary plans on responding on Monday.
I'm not quite sure why, but it seems she is waiting for the Pub convention to be over. MAYBE because she wants to make sure HER RESPONSE gets the headlines and doesn't get burried by McNut's speech or any of their other drivel.

I can't claim to personally KNOW Hillary, but we do share a similar personality. If I'm right, Hillary is now really pi**ed! SHE is being used by that Pub twit and some are even comparing Sarah as being "like" Hillary! I think you'll not only hear from her with very strong words, but I think you'll also hear from Bill whose name those idiots invoked several times.

2. I think it shows that they're scared.
Palin's speech was horrible. I mean, she can read pretty well, which I guess is the bare minimum these days, but it was vitriolic beyond belief.

Hillary will eat her lunch and she should.

The way that woman paraded that family around last night made me sick.

10. Yeah, I heard them mention several Democratic presidents by
name: FDR, Harry S. Truman, LBJ, and the Big Dog.I don't recall hearing Nixon, Bushwacked 1 or 2 or even St. Ronnie. What's that all about?

3. EVERY woman should come out swinging.

4. Oh, believe me, I have been.
But, I'm an unknown, except for the legend that I believe I am in my mind.

If the RW thinks they are pandering to disappointed Hillary voters by endorsing this nutbag, they've got another thing coming.

5. Amen.
Go bunnies! Maybe you can write a Letter To The Editor saying just that! New Hampshire is a swing state
this year again, right?

13. Put it all down as it comes to you -- you can circulate the different LTTE's all around the state.
You're articulate and passionate - perfect for stirring low-information readers.
This week is the perfect time to hit Palin, before opinions harden.

6. I have mixed feelings and think that Dems should NOT be baited by Palin's grade school nonsense
It's as if she is laying down some gauntlet for a throw-down after school. :eyes: She's a coward. They want attention and want to get into a dog-fight knowing that since they own all the media, however the fight plays out, they will always win.

In a way, Hillary shouldn't have to say a thing outside of the platform objectives, with an emphasis on painting the repukes as anti-choice and extemeists.

9. I think Hillary should tell every single one of her supporters
who is disappointed and considering not voting for Barack that this woman is flat out dangerous and a threat to their daughters with her archaic views.

JMHO.

12. good idea
but don't be fooled by the media lies about PUMAs. trust me--they don't exist. there are a few bitter old broad who are angry they lost the primary--but it is time to GET OVER IT they will fall in line. They don't have anywhere else to go. If Obama caters to these nothings--it may make him look weak. I sure don't want that.
