When charges are possible attorneys always advise the client to remain silent...Palin?

She disappears for 3 days after making a speech with inaccuracies that can be proven by anyone with a computer and internet access.

She gives an acceptance speech but does not tell us much about who she really is. You would think that the prime opportunity to overcome that is for her to get on the Sunday AM politcal talk show merry-go-round, Right? Sorry but you would be wrong.

She goes back into 'hiding' except for carefully scripted events in which she will take no open questions from the press or anyone not connected to the McCain Campaign.

I think there is something huge out there likely to come tumbling out any day, OR she knows she will be questioned about her lack of cooperation in Troopergate and the gyrations her State of Alaska paid attorney is going to in order to block the investigation.

OR... maybe there is a legitimate reason to worry about charges being brought and she is following her lawyer's advice.

In any event, if the two speeches she has given are the sum total of what we will be told about her qualification to serve as the next VP, then she will do little to help McCain or herself.
