Gross.

This vapid barbie seems to think that political conventions are the equivalent of balls for the elite.

How incredible disgusting...the elderly in my community don't know how they are going to heat their houses this winter...food pantry use is sky-rocketing...I know it is happening EVERYWHERE...

And, she puts her ass in a 300,000 dollar dress????

2. I think a lot of it was her jewelry
Not just the dress.

5. Yes, that's true...
Oscar de la Renta dress: $3,000
Chanel J12 White Ceramic Watch: $4,500
Three-carat diamond earrings: $280,000
Four-strand pearl necklace: $11,000–$25,000
Shoes, designer unknown: $600

But these are the same people who were calling Obama an "elitist" and made fun of Edward's haircut.

But junk the jewelry and her outfit is still $8100 (dress, shoes, watch).

3. The biggest dollar chunk is for her earrings. Even subtracting those,

what she pays for cloths, shoes, a FASHION watch from Chanel (not known as revered watchmakers), it's still obscene. Actually makes me feel kind of ill.

6. She's worth $100 million
I really don't feel comfortable telling people how to spend their money but agree that if the information gets out there, it doesn't look good.

7. Here is the kicker - She wore that dress while doing a "telethon"
for the victims of Gustav?

It is like eating cake while NOLA drown.

8. No, it was a three thousand dollar Oscar de la Renta dress.
It was the earrings. The earrings were pegged at 280-some-odd-grand. With upwards of 25 thousand dollars more for the multi-strand pearl necklace.

They should have had cake, too.

10. Well, she figured that it was just St. Paul, so she was slumming.
So she didn't wear her best clothes. The 300K didn't even come from the dress -- it was the 280K earrings and 11K necklace.

But, yes, it IS shameful that she wouldn't really dress up for the occasion.

;-)
