Biden speaking about the debates...

Have any of you heard the recent audio of Biden's statements about the vp debates? He was very careful to play down his ability to launch Palinesque zingers, and repeatedly said that she was going to be a challenging opponent.

Did any of you catch a hint of sarcasm in his tone or am I just projecting my own feelings into his statements?

5. Joe Biden is both a gentleman and politically astute. I think if she asks for the rope he will

politely allow her to hang herself. Nothing looks worse than being shrill and/or pissy next to a calm, courteous person.
