Palin takes a question!
does anyone get the sense that the Politico people have been acting a little snarky at the McCain campaign lately? It probably won't last, but still.

Palin takes a question!

My colleague Lisa Lerer reports:

It isn't the veep candidiate's first - Palin talked to People Magazine soon after announcing her candidancy - nor is it a particularly exciting answer. But it notable because Palin has spent so little time talking to the press over the past week despite an intense level of media scrutany.

An Alaska television crew got in the question after a quick statement by Palin during private luncheon of the Republican Governor's Association.

Transcript, from pool report, below.

Q: We feel like we're losing you a little bit.

PALIN: "No I'm happy to be governor of Alaska couldn't be more proud, of course, of my position as governor of Alaska."
