Who Plans to Take off 11/4 To Drive People to the Polls?
I'm thinking of doing this. I just know my Republican boss will know what's up when I ask him for the day off though...

I have a Prius. It holds lots of people and gets good gas mileage. I'm thinking there are people who will need some driving to the polls. Anyone else here doing this?

1. The answer to your question. Community Organizers.

2. LOL - well sure!
Someone's going to have to tell me who to drive to the polls! I'm pretty sure showing up at the 7-11 with an empty Prius and an Obama magnet won't be safe or good. :)

Man is Palin going to regret pissing off the community organizers.

8. I think I'll try that this year--can you do shifts?
I've got health and kiddo issues but I'd like to do that; there's a lot of crucial local races this year.

10. In Ohio it is a long day but I don't know about your state.
Give the Board of Elections a call. They need good people. Peace, Kim

6. I will. I'm voting when the polls open, then going from there.
Originally I was going to be an election judge, but figured I have a van - I can make calls, fill the van up, make more calls - and keep going until the day is done.

9. My husband and I plan on doing the same thing. We'll use both cars if we must.
I want to hit up the Obama campaign office to see how we can be of service.
