If the reactions of my fellow Dallas mass trans riders today are any indication

of people's reactions to Palin's speech last night, she and McCain have no idea what they may have unleashed.
I was sitting several seats away from a group of 4 or 5 people and they started talking about last night's events.
I was only able to grab bits and pieces of the loud, heated conversation as I was talking to a co-worker sitting next to me but the words/phrases I did catch were:

"this is gonna be a CLASS WARFARE now....WHO is the elitist..$500 pair of shoes..like anyone is gonna believe them..yeah, WMD's, 8 years later, WHERE are they, there never were any..(mumble, mumble, crosstalk)...here we are working everyday"...

The people involved in the pretty pissed off conversation were of 3 different races (Hispanic, AA, white).


Later in the day I read on the computer that Palin was cancelling events and still avoiding the media. Too late. Damage (to them) done.
