Why NOT to panic about the new CBS news poll

OK, so CBS news just released a poll showing the race tied. However, I'm not worried:

1. It covers the same exact time span (9/1-3) as Ras and Gallup, and both of those show Obama up 5 and 7 respectively.

2. The sample sizes: Gallup - 2771 Registered Voters. Ras - 3000 Likely Voters. CBS - 734 Registered Voters
