The UK papers are buying the Palin bullshit |
|
It's not really much of a shock, but both the Guardian and Telegraph papers in England are shitting themselves over Palin. Why is this important, you say? Well, it is hard for us here in the States to accurately gauge the reaction to Palin, so some insight from the Brits may be effective. That, or the UK journalists at the RNC are feckless idiots that sought merely to run with the easiest story possible, however effective it may be. The Telegraph featured ridiculous comments from such luminaries as Michael Reagan, Fred Thompson, and delegate Phyllis Gorman from Oklahoma. The Telegraph even had the audacity to compare Palin to both Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan. LMFAO.
The point is, the observations from overseas highlight the fact that this election is not going to be a cakewalk. Obama has a much tougher time getting his viewpoint heard than does McPalin (maybe because whisper racism is still more acceptable than nonexistent sexism). Buckle down, folks, it's going to be a bumpy 2 months.

2. They quoted idiots, and |

compared her to the two biggest idiots of the 20th century? Doesn't sound like positive coverage to me.
May I suggest you look at the polls? She has had no effect at all, and the more people find out about her, the more we will see a NEGATIVE effect.
