1. No. They'd add that to the list of things they're whining about now. nt

4. People shook keys at some Dem rallies to kid McCain about all his houses.
Apparently some sources said McCain found this traumatic because it triggered memories of his treatment as a POW. Honestly, I think it's 90% DU echo chamber bullshit. I can't see McCain actually releasing a statement about how the jingling of keys triggers PTSD episodes.

It's the sort of issue only a very small number of online Democrats ever pay attention to.

5. Lots of people think visually... not analytically.
They often vote GOP ( flip-flops, anyone ?) in part because of this.

The flip-flop charge vs. Kerry was intellectually dishonest... and hence reprehensible.

But it was effective. The keychain idea was clever and illustrated a valid point . Simplistic, perhaps, but it made a valid point and was not unfair.

6. It was a stupid and juvenile idea.
And could easily sway some fence-sitters to the Repub side, since they claim to be grown-ups.

7. All I can say is Nice guy always finishes last
Now I hope I eat those words in November but history has shown that the dirty tricks work. We let them frame the keys. You notice we have heard nothing about jingling keys rattle McCain since?

The glove have got to come off against both McCain and Palin.
