Palin's speech

I've been non committal on her speech because I want to think about it. Here are my newest thoughts. The republicans were playing with dynamite and we don't know as of yet how it will play out. They made her a rabid attack dog that was mocking Obama. Now think about Hilary, Why is she so disliked by people and why is Kay Bailey Hutchinson liked. It has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with demeanor. Kay is just as strong as Hilary but her presentation is softer. Hilary comes off as a bitch because she can be strident. I personally do not think Hilary is a bitch but I do think this is what drives her negatives.

If Palin comes off or is perceived as mean then she will damage the ticket. A man can be mean because that is rough and tumble schoolyard play. It goes right back to grade school. Women don't have that luxury. Women don't like mean women(Bitches) and men feel castrated by them or as men would say I wouldn't fuck her with your dick. They had three attack dogs before her and they probably didn't need to pile on. We will know more in about a week.

but she has the highest negatives of any candidate and it not just the right wing. Hide your head in the sand but there is more working here. Women do not get the luxury that men do. plain and simple and I still think this may backfire. Read some of the comments outside of DU and right now Palin is being perceived as mean and people don't like that. It gives them a bad feeling
