What are we gonna do about this Media? McCain is dumb & Palin is Dumber = Puppets? |
|
Don't you think we should raise hell?
I would hate it if we allowed the Corporate Nations of America to to install their puppets.
Come on. John McCain is not an intelligent person, and Ms. Gimmick is even less so. There is something going on here, and I don't like it one bit.
We need to start raising hell with the media like Right does, because if we don't, there will be nothing left for our us or our kids.
There is no way that those two fools could even be a threat to Barack and Joe, after these eight long ass years, and when most in the country say that we are in the wrong direction.
The polls are being skewed, and manipulated. The talking heads are saying night when it is day. They ask Joe about his 20 year old plegiarism and his son's lobbyst deals, and ask nothing of the McCain campaign, even after the McCain camp slap the media down silly and loud in front of 37 million.
The media lets the GOP spout their talking points, and act like they don't know the truth. They let the GOP speeches that are filled with nothing but lies in them, but somehow, that's quite alright? The speeches are great?
Ghouliani and Gimmick and their GOP audience are allowed to ridicule and laugh at Community organizing, i.e., community service without the media calling on it?
I don't care if our ticket is 1/4 Black..... there is something wrong with this picture.

2. Raising reality would be refreshing |

Puppets? This is the Bush regime continued, pure and simple. These people are nothing but machinery of convenience for the prime corporate actor dynasty trying to destroy democracy since WWI, definitely since the Prescott Bush attempted coup with necessary detours for Eisenhower and Reagan who(and their people with them) were shoved aside in the biggest intergenerational political plot, maybe ever, since the Borgias. The Bushes in turn are obviously protected and allied hip and thigh with corporate interests in a mutually exclusive club that shares the same morality and portfolios.
Forget the entire picture of suspect corporate interests for a moment. Our modern Hannah, Rove and Metternich Cheney have the interwoven scheme of empire and politics tightly wound. The rest are hacks and tools, none with character or talent to threaten those currently fouling up the ruling scene. NO candidate of worth was left or allowed to run, no rival, no rivaling personal ambition, no genuine successor. Just stooges and pawns in the game of carrying things to the next stage- which I doubt includes letting Barrack Obama clean up the mess for eight long years and the GOP to find independent voices, even of similar ilk. If the GOPer in power looks bad he makes sure everyone, starting with his Veep, looks worse. No one is as bad as the Bush regime and finding worse is bluntly insane.
Yet the game they dominated by the alliance and compliance of our desperately inadequate or compromised national whatevers has all their non-democratic advantages in place. They are going for pushing beyond the boundaries of madness itself- as all entitled crooks do- while the shocked smoke and mirror bedazzled humankind looks on in shock- including some money entities we often suspect have the Bushes as their perfect secret plan.
This is a total Bush Regime ploy- not a doltish lame duck with a a doltish successor going into the change meat-grinder. McCain- or Thompson- older, sicker than Reagan(remember that assassination attempt?) plus a malleable sure stooge- this time one no one believes fit to be really president, will be the entry back into the actual Oval Office of the Regime's choice. Probably Jeb. If not someone convenient Jeb or Cheney II can hide behind. I don't think we want to contemplate the finishing off of democracy and the grand schemes of this horrible dynasty, no matter what other allies and schemes are lurking under or over them.
As usual, our impetus toward an actual election ignores apparent realities. Not polite or politic blindness, but likely just blindness pure and simple.
