Isn't this election supposed to be the anti-partisanship election
The reason that Obama's message of change resonates is because people are sick of the bitter partisanship and the inability of our government to get anything accomplished because of it. McCain is now trying to claim that same issue. But Sarah Palin, with her annoying sarcastic attacks will quickly turn people off. She is only highlighting the worst aspect of partisan politics.

2. That whole concept seems silly on the face of it to me.
Expecting a campaign to be non partisan is like expecting cattle smeared with fish paste* to successfully cross a piranha invested river. It's just not happening.

*Smearing cattle with fish paste is a rare common occurrence in some parts. :silly:
