"What the Heck?"
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 10:45 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
Direct quote from a woman in a focus group on CNN when asked why she thinks Sarah Palin is ready to be president:

"Hey, what the heck?"

And that, my friends, is why this election is as close as it is.

1. Yep. The polls are out and the public loves her.
Obama needs to stop talking like an intellectual and start throwing stones at these Republican cavepeople, because that's the only thing the average American idiot voter understands.

2. OMG--that's a good answer for "Do you want the last slice of pizza?"
Not for picking a world leader.

5. The horse race is a figment of the media's imagination
By all accounts Obama is better off right now than he was before his Convention started. Palin has stopped this election from being a referendum on Obama. In just about every swing state, McCain is tied or trailing. Coupled with the fact that McCain needs to run the table on pretty much EVERY swing state in order to win, this race isn't as close as the media is making it out to be.
